Claudia is the leader of her "troop" you can say and tries to maintain balance and law & order. As she seems to be more of the focused one. Roxy is a newlwyed who didn't make a good impression on the wives nor was she impressed with them. But slowly and surely, both will come to understand one another. Other than that, the show looks like a hit. Better than the Unit!
This show is great because of the fact of the realistic stories in it, and how everybody comes together for anything. The people in the show, are so awesome, I love how we can see how they are in different situations. And also no matter what rank there husbands are or wife, they band together like it doesn't matter for the most part. If you love dramas, this show is for you, if you are a army wife or some how in the military, this show is for you. There are so many different kind of people that would watch this, because of how the people are different, and the problems are all different.
Very good show! Worth the hype that they put up for it. Going into the show, I was a little unsure, but then, I really came to love it. Trevor: Great guy. Glad he's with one of my two favorite women.
Micheal: Seen better in other episodes. Happy about how he set Jeremy in his place.
Joan: I don't like her much. She has been effected a lot by the war, and needs to deal with it, but refuses to.
Frank: At first I was sure that he was the one beating on his wife; and I hated him for it. But when I learned otherwise, I came to like him a little bit more. He does seem to be forcing his life on his son a bit, but I think we all do.
The gossipers: I hate them.
Jeremy: Needs to be smacked for hurting a woman. Especially the one that brought him into the world.
I love Roxy's one liners. And the scene where Roxy and Pamela meet. The way that they were trying to one up each other.
The birth on the pool table, and the "It wasn't me!" from Roland.
I think Pamela is my fave. Drew Fuller is a complete hottie. I can't wait to see more and more of him. The dialogue was witty and fun. In addition, the plot outlined potential 'down the road' problems. I wasn't at all shocked that it was the 'son' doing all the 'bruising' (doing wanna spoil), however, I look forward to him getting his comeuppance. I am so looking forward to the future episodes. Delaney's character and her husband should bring about a decent story as well as Drew's character and his 'wife' Roxy. This really might be a show we'll see a lot of!!!
At first I was not going to watch this show because I thought it might be another one of those stupid shows where the women have no character or self-worth and that the show would just be a waste of my time. The more I watched the previews, I changed my mind and I finally decided to give this show a chance. I am so glad that I did. The beginning so far seems to have women who have personality, who are smart and intelligent, plus women who are going thru things that many women go thru today in everyday life as well as women who are married to men in the service. I love the fact that there is a great cast who will make this show to be worth watching. I have watched Delaney since she young in the acting business when she was on "All My Children", and I enjoyed her then and I know that I will enjoy her now. She seems to have a very strong role.
I have to admit, this was much better than I expected. The setup alone is intriguing but the way it plays with expectations is even better. The best is Catherine Bell's character being abused by her son, not her husband and how that obviously affects her. Her friendship with Delaney is good and I like her being the top dog as it were of the Wives and how she tries to help. The thing with her husband overlooked for a promotion due to a racist lie was interesting and I look forward to how she helps with the others.
Another way that it shifted was the female soldier suffering trauma while her husband tries to cope with being an army spouse, a nice reversal of the ususal setup. So far, Roxy is my favorite with trying to fit in and her feisty attitude. Walking through a public restroom in just underwear was a bit off but I liked how she ended it by telling Bell how to handle being hit. I'm a big fan of Bridgid and nice to see her back on TV handling her pregnancy. The birth scene was better than I expected and looking forward to how she handles post-birth and her reputation. So it's a good start to another fine Lifetime drama and with a cast like this, I don't see how it can't do anything but get better.
