  • An amazing show with an amazing plot line.

This episode was a great second episode. It kept me guessing and continued to do so in further episodes of the series. This particular episode was really interesting we learn about Trevor being deployed and that he wants to adopt the kids which I personally think is kind of forward considering he and roxy have been together for less than a month. I am amazed though at how strong Roxy and Trevor's relationship is for only having known each other for a month.moreless
  • Roxie kicks rear! Great episode!

Character development as well as issues as Pamela is forced

To take care of the babies that she delivered while

The parents are out of rown. She ignores them. As babies

Shouldn't be ignored. Meanwhile, Jeremy is such a jerk and glad that Roxie kicked the heck out of him. As he was hurting his mother by grabbing her and nearly choking her to death. Don't you just love Roxie!!

Slightly sad the way that Pamela is trying to be withdrawn from the babies. Even though she is a surrogate, they still needed to be taken care of. Seems strange that the parents don't come home sooner. Most parents would if they found out that their babies were born early. The plan to say that the children died seems like it would have some flaws.

Trevor is amazing with the boys. Sad when he wants to adopt them, only to reveal that he is being deployed. Very supportive of Roxy. He knows she is trying, even if it is taking her a long time to get adjusted, and to figure out what she needs to do.

Chase: Makes me irritated. Not doing anything to help Pamela, and he is spending all of the money they are making, on useless things compared to what they owe. And doesn't seem to care about how much they owe.

Joan sure does drink a lot. She really is suppressing something. She needs to talk it out with someone about whatever happened over there. Probably has some sort of PTSD.

Lenore Baker is irritating. She keeps popping up everywhere, and acting like she should be allowed to know everything that is going on with everyone.

I understand that it was hard for Pamela and Chase to tell the kids. But of all people, they deserved to know the truth.

I'm very glad what Roxy did for Denise. That's what she needed. And of Roxy has been through it. So we finally understand why Roxy has the tough exterior.

GO PAMELA for returning all of Chase's useless items. He didn't need all of that crap, and she needed to defend herself to some degree.

When Joan leaves, I feel it's almost a good thing. Until she gets some help, it seems unfair for her to be treating Roland the way she is. Almost glad to see Pamela break down after dropping off the twins. After she was so against showing emotion towards them, it was a good thing. Doing that is a very tough thing, and takes a lot of courage.moreless
  • Behavioral, Intense, Issue-related

    10
I'll tell you what I really do love about the series, and that's the behavioral aspects that they are dealing with. The one issue I have with this, is Joan's behavior, it seems to me she's not getting the best of storylines, nor is the writing very good for her role, I certainly hope it gets better. I hear she's going to be getting her marching orders again soon. It'll be interesting to see where that goes. I love Pamela and Roxy's growing friendship, and I adored the way Pamela finally stood up to her husband, although I think we'll see more friction from that coming soon as well. It's so fun to watch Roxy learning all the 'Army Wives' things, like the blend of clothing and the reason for it. Roxy's character has such fun and punchy lines, it's awesome!!! Denise's character is so terrific, she's so timid with her family members and I love what the writers are doing with her son's character. UGH it's so intense and heavily issue-related. I'm looking forward to more ... that's for sure!!!moreless
  • One of best dramas to come around in a long time.

    9.6
This is only the second episode and I've come to realize this is not the type of show that is going to leave a person with a happy, fun, kind of feeling inside at all because it is definitely to strong and powerful for that. But the show does leave the emotions and feelings left going like "WOW"! I truly believe that this show is going to touch people in such ways that they will feel so strongly about this show that they will either watch each episode each and every week or it will be just the opposite; for some it will hit to close to home and they won't want to watch the show. This is one of the newest, freshest dramas that I have seen in so long and it has such a variety of personalities to work with that I cannot wait and see just how far this show goes.moreless
