Lackluster, Miscarriage, Triangle

I'm going to try to be more to the point with my review of this episode. I'm getting tired of the Frank-Getti-Denise triangle. I just think it was too soon in Denise's 'career' to have her careening down the highway of adultry. Trevor slowly getting into drugs, eh ... becomes Joans chauffer, eh ... at least he'll be on post and we won't have to worry about Roxy freaking out for a bit. Oh, and I love that Roxy is getting her GED ... that's a GOOD and positive storyline. YAYI have loved Pamela's radio show story line for a while now, and I continue to love it. I liked the other little side-line stories that popped up, Emmalin's teenaged heartbreak, Chase just kind of hanging out with the family, Getti leaving, Frank coming home, Jeremy and the drug bust, etc etc. Finally, we end on Getti coming back to the hospital on a gurney, and Joan coming in with a possible miscarriage. Now ... that's some drama. So now I feel the last episode and this one have filled us in properly and we can finally start liking our show again.moreless

We open with Joan in hospital. She gets told that everything's ok but she has to go on bed rest. We then see Denise at the hospital with Getty and Claudia Joy goes to see how she is. On his way into school Roland sees a fight and breaks it up, he then discovers possible drugs on the floor and marches both of the boys into the principal's office. Frank arrives home and is greeted by his son Jeremy. He is told by Jeremy that Denise is at work, but just then she arrives home. Roxy sits a practice GED test. Emmalyn sees her boyfriend chatting to some people from her school and she has a funny feeling that something is going on. Roxy gets the results of her test and she failed. Frank goes to see Denise at the Hospital and sees her with Getty and her kissing his hand. When Emmalyn gets home her parents tell her that it was her boyfriend who was selling the drugs. She tells them that she was the one who called the MP's. Pamela's new best friend (the writer) goes over to her house. She kisses Pamela and Pamela seems shocked. Roland tells Roxy that she has a learning disability. She can take her GED vocally instead of writing which will make it a lot easier for her. Trevor goes to the doctor and the doctor tells him that he can't recommend him to go back yet. Pamela tells Roxy about the kiss. Emmalyn goes to see Quinn in prison. Denise goes to see Getty and as she says goodbye and walks off, he dies.moreless
