In this episode of Army Wives, the following happens. We open with Pamela starting to worry about Chase, since he should have been home 2 weeks ago and she hasn't heard from him. Soon the car, as the kids put it, comes to tell you when someone has died come along, everyone fear the worst, but luckily it keeps on going and doesn't stop. We see Claudia Joy getting used to having to injection herself, and we learn that she still hasn't shown Emmalyn how to do it, and she still has told any of her friends about it. With Joan being so close to deployment, Rowland tries to organise a night away for them, but she can't go, as she has too much to do before she leaves. Trevor starts his new post, as recruitment and it seems easy enough until he actually gets out there trying to do it. When Pamela is out at the store, she sees that a guy from Chase's unit is home, but he tells her that she didn't see him. This only adds to her worry about Chase. We soon see Claudia Joy getting angry at little things, thus showing that she isn't as yet willing to accept that fact that she is now diabetic. Denise and Frank talk about her career and when she tells him that she would like to become a paramedic he is totally on board with the idea. Since they can't go away, Rowland organises a meal with all the settings and trimmings for them in the house.
When Pamela gets a visitor late that night, she fears the worst and doesn't answer the door. But soon Roland and Joan's perfect night turns into a nightmare when they both get food poisoning. With Pamela freaking out, everyone gets together, to try and help her out. When she is in a rush, Claudia Joy doesn't take her insulin. The ring round looking for Chase begins. When Roxy and Pamela leave, Denise and Claudia Joy are alone together. We soon learn that his unit were injured and some were sent home. As she walks, she collapses on the floor. Denise then finds her insulin pack and knows straight away what to do. When Pamela goes to the compound, they won't let her in. So Roxy agrees to looks after the kids, whilst Pamela stays there until they let her in. When Claudia Joy comes round properly, she asks her why she hasn't told anyone. She claims that it is a private matter and that she doesn't want anyone to know about it, as she doesn't want people to stare at her. Later that night, Pamela is taken back inside of the compound and she is lead into a room. We can clearly see that it is a room with medical equipment in it. In the background, if you listen really closely, I think I can hear a breathing machine. As she walks in her face goes to pure terror and she simply says "Chase".moreless
