After Claudia Joy and Denise's weekend at the spa is thwarted by an unexpected car accident, Claudia Joy receives some shocking news regarding her health.
Finn starts his new school and Roxie is showing extra support, which causes animosity between the boys. When Trevor gets home, he takes T.J. fishing for some father son bonding.
Back in Iraq Jeremy is reminded how dangerous war really is after witnessing a soldier being wounded.

  • We learn the fate of Denise and Claudia Joy

    In this episode of Army Wives, the following happens. We open this episode with the aftermath of the accident which Denise and Claudia Joy were in. We see an ambulance getting to the scene and we see Denise is there, trying her best to save Claudia Joy's life. We then seem Michael and Emmalyn in the kitchen, when he gets the phone call about the accident. We learn that she should be ok, but they want to keep her in overnight, as a precaution. So, since Frank is away, Michael has Emmalyn go home with Denise and stay with her. As he goes to talk to Denise he talks to one of the paramedics form the accident, who tells him that basically Denise saved his wife's life. Before Claudia Joy leaves the hospital, she is told that her blood glucose levels are high and so an appointment with her doctor is arrange for the following day. Finn starts his new school, but it doesn't go down well with his brother, who seems to be acting out. We then see Michael going round to Denise, thanking her for saving his wife's life and apologising for what has happened between them. Seeing what is going on with TJ, Trevor arranges for the 2 of them to go fishing together. Back in Iraq we see Jeremy witnessing an explosion, which barely missed him. At the doctors Claudia Joy gets her results, which reveal that she has Type 2 Diabetes. Claudia Joy tells them that the test is wrong, and so asks for another test to be run, to confirm her diagnoses. When Finn has a play date with one of his new classmates, Roxy is shocked to see how well off they are. It becomes apparent how far apart their worlds are. When they get home Finn asks Roxy if they are poor. She explains to him that they may not have all the belongings in the world, but they have love and they have each other. As the episode draws to a close we see Jeremy phoning Denise and we see them having a conversation, during which we learn that he will be home in 2 weeks. We end with Michael and Claudia Joy learning that she does have Diabetes, and they discuss the treatment. Aft the doctor leaves we see that both of them are in shock, and Claudia Joy starts to cry.moreless
