Just saw on Nikki Fine's Deadline Hollywood blog that work is underway for an "Army Wives" spin-off. The show is set to have an "Embedded pilot," ie an episode of "Wives" that can work as the first episode for this new show. The plot would have Pamela returning to her old job as a cop in Atlanta with Gabrielle Union as her partner. A shame if it means Brigid leaving the show but worth checking out perhaps.
