  • The seriousness of going to war, finally gets to Joan.

    In this episode of Army Wives, the following happens. We open this episode seeing that Denise and Frank are very much in love with each other, and we learn that he is being re-deployed that very day. We learn that Pamela that Chase is coming home that weekend.
    Michael calls Frank into his office and we learn that Frank is being promoted and Michael also asks him to be his new G3. Frank meets up with Denise and tells her the good news. This also means that Frank will not be deploying, he will be staying on post with Denise. When Claudia Joy plans a meal for her, Michael, Denise and Frank about his promotion, Michael is not happy about it as the new position is not yet official. At home, Joan breaks down in tears when she realises that she is going to miss everything when she goes on tour. By the time she comes back her baby girl, will no longer be a baby. Since Rowland realises how much Joan is going to miss, he dresses their daughter up in a Halloween costume, but Joan is upset by it and demands that she be taken out of the outfit and then walks off. During the meal, when Michael and Denise are left alone together, he doesn't know how to handle the situation and so he goes off to help Claudia Joy in the kitchen, leaving Denise all alone.
    Roxy helps out a singer, who is down on her luck. Also she used to be "famous" only Roxy seems to know who she is. She is there to try and see the son, who she gave up at birth. But when she manages to track him down, he doesn't want to speak to her, let alone see her. Later that night we see that Claudia Joy is angry with Michael for leaving Denise all by herself during the meal. The following night, Denise goes to see Michael about what happened the previous night. She says that she knows he isn't happy about what she did, but Frank has forgiven her and that she and Claudia Joy will always remain friends.moreless
