In this episode of Army Wives, the following happens. Its day 99, with no casualties at the base, and so everyone is on pins waiting to find out if they will make it to 100 days. When a young boy calls 911, saying that he and his mother have been in an accident, Denise sticks her neck out and manages to find out the truth.
As Jeremy takes part in a live shooting, he gets hit. When it looks as though he is going to die, he opens his eyes, and we see that his helmet took the bullet. Joan goes and sees a specialist and we learn that he has a brain injury. When Michael learns of this, he places her on leave, believing that he is a risk to her unit. And so she won't be deploying. And so as the episode ends, we see that we DID make it 100 days. We also see Joan hanging up her uniform, possibly forever. A very emotional episode. It was really nice to see everyone pulling together to try and find Taylor and his mother.moreless

    • Goof: The conversation between Denise, Pamela and Roxie at the bar regarding the 911 call and the female victim's condition would be a violation of HIPAA (the Health Information Privacy Act). As Emergency Services professionals, both Denise and Pamela would have received training on the Privacy Rule and signed confidentiality agreements that would require them not to discuss patient information unless warranted by the treatment or during the call. To do so at the HUMP, could be grounds for termination, if another person overheard the conversation and reported it to their employers.

    • Goof : When Denise talks to her supervisor about the 911 call, she tells him when she tried to ring the number back, it went to voice mail. This is a goof. When she tried to call the number back, a system greeting from the cell phone provider came on the line and stated the caller was out of the service area or not accepting calls.
