This was another of my favorite episodes. I love the interjection of the 'delta force' families. I thought that Denise got awfully suspicious very quickly though. It didn't seem realistic for that to happen. I mean, this woman had money, who's to say that she didn't inherit it or something? Like I said ... sort of unrealistic. That's probably the only thing that was not genuine to my way of thinking. I'm really pleased that Roxy is working on the Hump Bar. (I'm also pretty happy they're renaming it too. Hee) I enjoy the fact that she is really independent and pretty much goes her own way. Denise and that Getty guy keep plugging along, and It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, the way their storyline is progressing. I'm so happy for Roland and Joan, they seem to really be getting more and more close as the pregnancy progresses. I love that. Good eppy. I always look forward to this show each week.
In this episode we open with Roxy on the phone trying to sort out the opening of the Hump bar. Trevor is on the phone to his sergeant, who wants to meet with him about him walking off of the TV show in the previous episode. Chase is back home and Pamela (and the kids) all seem very happy that he's home.
We also learn that Jeremy (Denise's son & Amanda's ex-boyfriend) is back on base. We learn that Joan & Roland are expecting a baby girl. We learn that if Trevor passes his medical he will be flown back in 2 weeks. Everyone one is getting ready for the re-opening of the Hump bar which is now going to be called Betty's bar. Claudia Joy has to take something round to the bar for Roxy, but she can't go in and simply drives on. Jeremy goes to see his mother and she is so happy to see him. Jeremy seems angry that the bar is re-opening. Roxy goes to pick up the flowers from Claudia Joy and she tells her how she couldn't go inside. Claudia Joy brakes down and tells her she can't be there on the opening night. Joan admits to Roland that she is worried about having a little girl as she and her mother didn't have the best relationship. Jeremy tells Emmalyn that he can't hang out with her as she reminds him of Amanda and can't go to the places that they all used too. Trevor tells Roxy that he will be going back on duty very soon. Pamela, Chase & the kids go to a BBQ with some of Chase new Delta workmates. Pamela thinks that there is something suspicious going on as they seem to be living beyond their means. The husband of one of the women tells Chase to tell Pamela not go to around any more. At the end of the episode we have the re-opening of the hump/Betty's bar. Betty rings and talks to Roxy about the opening of the bar. She is currently in California. After everyone leaves the gang are there helping clean up when Claudia Joy and Emmalyn walk in. Claudia Joy seems ok but Emmalyn brakes down in tears. They all gather round and give her one big hug.
