Buster beat Michael and Marta to the punch, sort of. He told Gob that he himself was in love with Marta. He then told Gob that "hermano" meant brother in spanish. He was going to kick hermano's ass, but didn't know who this was still. Buster suggested the man who plays Marta's brother on her soap opera, so Gob went there.
Barry Zuckerhorn, the attorney who's slogan is "He's very good", asked the family to show up for 10 minutes at George Sr.'s first hearing. Lucille wouldn't stand for this and demanded it be lowered to 5 minutes, but it stood. They would be a happy family for 10 minutes at George's hearing.
George Michael was looking to solve the mystery of what Tobias meant when he said he and Lindsay were unable to conceive. Tobias was to no help, first telling him the birds & bees tale, then cutting George Michael off after finding out his role has nudity in it. Tobias, as you may know, is a "never-nude". George Michael searched elsewhere, and Lindsay tried to end this condition.
So George Michael went to Balboa Towers to find out from Gangy that Maeby had been conceived in a cup. The family had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to conceive her. George Michael went to tell her how she was conceived, but Maeby had realized the reality that somehow it could be worse. George Michael decided it was best not to tell her.
Michael had started romancing Marta when he realized he had to get to his fathers hearing. At that point he had told Gob about his feelings and hers, and Gob said go for it. Unfortunately only Gob and Lucille showed up to the hearing, which George Sr. counted as nobody. Buster finally arrived, and as the trial started, Michael walked in. After realizing they had just gone to make love, Gob proceeded to chase Michael.
Lindsay decided to use a system where for every piece of clothing Tobias removed, she would remove. Finally, Tobias removed the cutoffs! And the sock he was wearing under it, and for the first time in years, Tobias and Lindsay made love.
All hell broke loose in the courtroom. Michael and Gob ran out on eachother, with Buster following attempting to get involved. Lucille also tried to escape, realizing she may not need any of her sons. George Sr., amid all the chaos and after hearing all the crimes he committed in a sentence for the first time, quietly tried to escape. Passing Barry on the way saying,"They'll never catch me". He opened a door and a guard, suspecting nothing, found him and put him back in the cell.
Marta had suspected Michael would be gone 10 minutes. She found the 3 men fighting and decided this was not putting family first. She said she wanted nothing to do with Michael or Gob, or the guy she didn't exactly know in the blue sweater.
On the next Arrested Development...
Tobias quietly overcompensates.
