Also what is so sad is all the jokes could have kept accumulating as the seasons went, so there would be jewels like that again and again. I would've liked GOB's "I don't think so" to come up in later episodes...I loved it in the Pilot.

The Mistr Banana Grabber, who looked like GOB and talked with a whistle. "I never should have given up the animation rights!"

    "It ain't easy being white,
    It ain't easy being brown,
So much pressure to be bright,
I got children all over town..."

I know they may not be the exact lyrics, but it's close. Which takes me to this question for the group...

Does anyone know the actual lyrics to this race-unifying hit from 'Franklin Comes Alive'?

Question 2... What is GOB saying/singing on the tape/cd playing in the background when Marta and Michael are about to get frisky? When Marta proceeds to tell Michael that Gob "likes to make love to it..."

You were very close...I think the actual lyrics are:

    "It ain't easy being white
    It ain't easy being brown
So much pressure to be bright
I got kids all over town"

so change "children" to kids and you had it. :-)

As for the second...I'll have to watch that episode and get back to you.

    Hooray for dvds!

I love it when Buster says "Father" in casual conversation and you hear the music(piano) play and Oscar lifts his head and looks his way and says, "Yes" and then catches himself.

Also sometimes, (at least twice), Tobias will come out of a fireplace during a conversation.

When Tobias and Lindsy first mention their open marriage to Michael and when he express concern Tobias Says,"Oh yes 'cause your such an expert on marriages, oh wait your wife is dead!"

Fav running joke is the chicken impersonation especially Gobs

    So many more classic moments

    Or this one,

Lindsay: By the end you and your wife were hardly even talking.

Michael: A lot of that was the coma

Lindsay: Yeah, I've heard your side

Another good quote is when GOB isfeeling guilty about his son Steve "Steve Holt!" Holt. He doesn't know what the feeling is.

Michael: Maybe the feeling is love.

GOB: Michael I know what an erection feels like! This is the oppisite...It's like my heart is getting hard.

Or how about in Forget Me Not when Steve Holt says, "Thanks Dad, I won't forget this!", then walks out.

Then GOB pulls out the pills and pops one in his mouth and says, "I will"...."I will".

LOL - one of the funniest moments in the show!

Lucielle: And I don't want any more pupet shows!

GOB: we just had some thingto say that whitie wasn't ready to hear.

Michael: Weren't you savagely beaten for doing that act at a club in Torrence.

GOB: Apparently African Amercanie wasn't ready to hear them either.

    That one never fails.

Yeah, I actually just caught the African Americanie the last time I watched that episode (probably the third or fourth time). It was hilarious.

After Michael and Rita leave "Wee britan's only american themed resturant", they are carrying large over stuffed doggy bags that say "I'm still eating at Fat Americans".

    Plus

If you look at some of the back ground shops in wee britan you'll see a dententis that offers teeth yellowing.

    Adding to subtle jokes:

In Exit Strategy, when Lindsay is hung over at the kitchen table, and keeps collapsing, her head hits some toast. Michael then picks it up, taking it to the garbage, but GOB snatches it, and takes a bite. The camera swivels away, and when it comes back, GOB is pulling hair out of his mouth.

Took me 3 views to FINALLY catch it. Amazing show.
