"Why am I not going under water? Dear God, why am I not going under water!!?" - hilarious!

Yeah, that was in "on the next Arrested Development".

Not sure lyghthouse - and I'm too lazy to check

In watching AD from start to finish for about the 4th or 5th time, I really like the banners that occur throughout the series that presumably Gob makes. "Look at banner, Michael!"

    Banner: Family Love Michael

Indeed. Not to mention the random gay guy with his "freedom" sign that appears a few times and the notes we see on the fridge. I guess that lesson really did work. :-)

My fav's are the chicken dance (of course), the blue paint on everything, Gob's "the final countdown" music, Kitties lopsided boobs and Tobias and his constant unknown use of inappropriate double-entendres.... oh yeah and the never-nude.

As everyone knows by my posts, the J. Walter Weatherman 'life lessons' running gag, and the utter joy and delight in which George taught those lessons, seal the deal for me as my favorite gag...well, my favorite that doesn't have multiple members of the Bluth family doing a non-tradional 'chicken dance' at the same time in the same room, anyway. My buddy, who found out about the show too late like many (which, I'm telling you, SO many more people are hip to 'Arrested' nowadays that a comeback is not as far-fetched as a lot of folks think) and lives off of his 'Arrested' dvd's now, was over at the house and we had some cop show on tv in the background as he, my wife and I had dinner together. Well, there is a chase and the cop finally corners the bad guy, and the bad guy screams "Don't shoot! Don't shoot!" I mention to my pal that if he is ever in that situation, it's a better idea to yell "I surrender" with his hands up because, well, it could have been a situation where it (per George Sr. in the lesson on the boat about 'hitting the gas') "Sounds like you said, 'Shoot! Shoot!" and then he'd have a real health concern on his hands. See, even we as fans get 'life lessons' from 'Arrested'. Thank you George Sr. and J. Walter Weatherman!

In one of the first couple of episodes, when Lucille says "You know I love all my children equally" and then it goes to a flashback where she just says "I don't care for GOB." And Tobias' audition for the commercial--"Oh my God we're having a fire...sale. The burning, it burns me! Evacuate all the school children. AUGH! Amaz...this isn't a fever...zing grace..." and then he's just lying face down. "Would you like to try that a bit...simpler?" Tobias "(thinks) No." That kills me every time, lol

I love all jokes/quotes involving Franklin and/or Ann.
Gob: Franklin said some things that Whitey wasn't ready to hear.
Michael: Didn't you get severely beaten outside a nightclub in Torrance for that act?
Gob: Franklin said some things that African-Americany wasn't ready to hear, either.

    And I love this scene:
    Michael: Who's Ann?
GM: My girlfriend. She's--you've met her so many times. You've met her and met her.
Michael: No, I know who Annabelle is. Who's this Ann that's in the beauty pageant?
GM: That's her. Her name isn't Annabelle. That's Ann.
Michael: (pause) No, I know that her name is not Annabelle--I just...That's how I remember her name 'cause her body's kind of shaped like a...She's the belle of the ball!

After Barry tells Michael how he "gave Maggie a spanking in the courtroom" earlier, they begin to part ways when Barry says to Michael "Tell Maggie Barry says (smacks Michael on the fanny as he walks away)."

I love when GOB gets that spring in his step as the William Hung Jury plays "It Ain't Easy Being White, It Ain't Easy Being Brown" while GOB walks to the witness stand.

The irreverence of that song, by the way, is political incorrectness at its absolute finest. Anything with GOB kills me. Like when he hurt his ankle 'shooting hoops' (as we see him doing the chicken dance and injuring said ankle immediately). GOB rocks.

Or the "Why won't you (bleep) me?!?" to Bob Loblaw.

Or just "(Bleep) me." (per request, to frighten Tobias)

"She's sitting right there Dad...you let her in the door!" is my favorite 'Her?' moment...though I guess it's technically a 'who?' moment.

I love the scene in Family Ties when Michael, GOB and Lindsay are in the kitchen and Michael asks GOB if he ever remembered having a sister growing up. GOB's like, I seem to recall having one or something like that. Then Michael says "other than Lindsay". And GOBs reaction is just hilarious!!! "Oh right, Lindsay...". I just crack up whenever I think of it.

I'm foggy on the episode (season 3 with Rita perhaps?) or context, but it was when they were going to have a party for Buster (for earning medals in Army perhaps?), then changed it to a party for Michael (I think) and for all I know Lucille was mad at Buster for some reason or another (I really should go pop in the dvd already so I can be a bit more accurate here, but I've got a case of the lazies going on)

...anyway, I think the banner originally read "You're Kidding me, Buster?" to "You're killing me, Buster!"

    Great.

    Banner Good Sienster!
