I love the correction: Illusions, Michael. But while that one is so great, my favorite may be when Michael says it instead.

Lucille: It's important to the company that I retain the image of my lifestyle.

Michael: Illusion, Mother, Illusion of your lifestyle.

Ha ha! That's a good one, Pampong!

Speaking of laughing, I like the Maggie Lizer episode, the first one, where she keeps cracking (somewhat corny) jokes and Michael just stares, and she puts her hands on his face to see if he's laughing... Finally he says something like, "You know, from now on I'm just going to laugh out loud so you don't have to do that" but at the end of the episode she makes another joke and he just stares and she reaches out her hands and suddenly he says, "Oh, ha ha, Maggie."

Not really a running joke but in that episode it is. :-)

And in "Justice is Blind" when they keep misquoting the 10 commandments. "Though shalt protect thy father and honor no one else above him, unless it beith me, thy sweet lord."

"Be true to thyself and to thine ownself be true"... the 7th one. :-)

Yeah - I love that one too. Actually, he uses that same fake laugh when Buster loses his hand! Also George Michael gets in on the act in that episode. I love their fake laughs!!!

After having made fun of his own missing arm several times and Michael having provided that fake laugh...
Buster: Go to her, Michael. And ask for her hand.

Michael: And maybe, while I'm at it, and can ask for a hand for my little brother (smiling, expecting Buster to like the joke)

Buster: Get him out. Get the bleep out!

Lyght and Pampong - great quotes you guys. GOB "What is with the insane moral code in this family?" And when Lindsay announces that her group is getting rid of the granite Ten Commandments slabs. "I've always been very passionate about separation of church and state." Michael asks what is she going to do with them? "I don't know, give 'em to a school."

Buster (to GOB): Stripper's don't wear clothes.

GOB: Not at the end of the show.

BB: You mean you can wear stripper clothes, even when you're not stripping?

GOB: *rips off pants* You tell me.

I laugh every time those pants come off. Also, same episode, when Buster flips out and runs away from George's 'funeral' yelling "The card! The card!"

One of my favourite things about this show was the reoccurring soundtracks, from the snoopy track, to the free at last, to the happy theme when michael takes the chair home from the office attached to his bike, to GOBs "the final countdown", GOBs franklin song recordings, to many to name.

But one of my fav moments that include them was when GOB stole the doctors tape with his notes and switched the tape out for his franklin recording.

The nurse comes into busters room and says the patient had a bad reaction to tetrahysomething (sp) and the doctor says didnt you get my notes? and it cuts to the nurse listening to "It aint easy being white" while putting the tetrahysomething pills into the patients pill cup.

Oh and when they are teaching George Sr. the lesson wit the whole cuba thing and michael tells GOB to put on the track with the forest sounds and he presses play and "It aint easy" comes on and michael yells "Track 2! Track 2!" LOL

I was laughing for about 5 minutes after that.

I came here to post that. Unfortunately now that I've prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, I've got a bit of a mess on my hands.

    GREAT Tobias quote!!

"You know what you do? You go out and you buy a tape recorder buddy..."

I enjoy how Michael pronounces Tobias' name differently from everybody else. (Toe-Buy-Us as opposed to T'buy-ess)

Someone had to mention it, and "even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up" by saying so.

'Has anyone in this family ever SEEN a chicken?' Only really funny if you've seen any member of the family do the chicken dance, but when this is said in an episode it cracks me up for so long, genius.

Tobias - I'm afraid I prematurely blew my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run if you will, so I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.

Michael - There's so many poorly chosen words in that sentence

The episode where at the beginning the narrator says one of the characters is going to die.

And then when the old lady arrives the narrator just says "OK, she's the one who dies."

I love how the blue finger and hand prints would show up randomly in the background, and how Tobias always had a terrible choice of words. My favorite, though would have to be a tie between "STEVE HOLT!" and "NO TOUCHING!". When Michael said the latter to his mother in season 2 I just about died I was laughing so hard.
