Although the show is probably the most consistent on a per episode basis... what is your favorite season?
mine
SEASON 3- by that point AD was in a world of its own and it was just outstanding... would have been an easier decision had there been more episodes BUT... Last 6 episodes... best streak of episodes in TV HISTORY

I liked Season 2 the best. 3 was awesome, and I love those episodes, but it's shorter and a little too reliant on running jokes. In no way do I think it is worse because of the Rita storyline. I loved that one. It's just a tiny bit worse than 2, and 1 was amazing, but some of the characters, Buster and Gobias (as in Go Buy Us) particularly, didn't seem to come into their own for a while. It seemed like they were one character one minute and a bit different the next.
But still, all were amazing. I loved 2 the most due in part to all the changes. George Sr. in the attic, and all the hilarity that insued there. ICE, Yam-egg-plain-her?-Ann, Buster's hand near the end. I don't know. It just seemed like it was the most fun to watch.

I liked season one the best - they all were gems except the pilot. The fire sale scene was the best! I didn't like the whole Maggie Lizer or Rita storylines in season 2 and 3 - but the whole series is awesome. I'm really nitpicking by saying I don't like those storylines.

I know...we have to remember we are comparing them to this show. When you compare even the worst moments on AD, they are better than 95% of television today.

same here. i thought two really built upon what season 1 did so well, whereas three was very shot, and you knew it had to end so it kinda sucked a little bit of life from the show

Each season is really outstanding.
Maybe 3. As someone said before the last few episodes were so funny.

Seson two. It some of the best episodes in my opinion. But it was only a slight improvement on one. I know lots of people will disagree but i thought the show really went downhill in season three. It was just too crazy that it lost some of it's freshness and witiness. Not that it was bad or anything it just was not as good as the first two seasons.

IMO the show was consistantly awesome, and no season is better than the other. Perphaps it's just hard for me to pick a favorate season because I watched each on DVD back-to-back (was introduced to the show last year by my sister).

The best season of ad had to be season 2, and how that season diddn't win an Emmy award is beyond me. If you don't think so, let me you that this is the season that buster join the army and had his hand bitten by a seal, George Michael's Jedi video, Tobias trying to become a blue man, and GOB's Franklin. Then all the recurring jokes which includes the Ann joke "her". And my opinion the best joke in the whole show which is the c-word joke.

The thing that sucked is that season 3 was aired like at 1 in the morning here in Phoenix for some reason. at least the last few episodes.

But I loved season 1, it was so refreshing to see a show like that on tv. I have to pick it since it was the season that started it all.
