Question about AD S1 DvDs

    I've been watching arrested development season 1 on a dvd set I bought. The order of episodes is different to the order listing on this site and everytime it says next on arrested development, the scenes they show never happen on the next episode. or sometimes the flashback scenes are things that i havent seen before.

    I'm really confused, anyone got an explanation?

    I see the episodes on the internet, so I can't answer most of your questions, but about the "next on arrested development", they never show those scenes in the next episode, don't worry about that. It's a way to explain what happened to some of the characters in a quick way (like what happened when Tobias directed the play).

    Yea, the "next time on Arrested Development" things are just funny gags.

    When I bought the first season DVDs I was also confused about that, because I never saw the scenes they were advertising, but got clued in that they were just jokes anyway.

    As for the episodes, they are definitely out of order! It isn't so bad, they are always just jumbled on the same disc. What I suggest is that you look at the air-dates and play them in that order. That's what I did and it worked just fine.

    Some of the "next on arrested development" I do see, but some I don't. And that had me confused as well. I thought I was missing entire episodes. So I double checked the list here with the ones I had, and I seemed to have every episode. Glad I found this post that explains that it's just the way it is...

    Great show. Loved season 1, 2 was great too but not as good as the first. But still a great show. I'm on season 3 right now.
