    So I'm watching this episode of A.D. and there's this one scene that, while watching, didn't really make me laugh but I thought it was very random.

    I start thinking about it like a month later and I couldn't control myself - I was laughing so hard.

    It was the one where GOB is showing some people a video and in the video is like a little magic trick. But as he's reading his prompter for his introduction, he says his name wrong: "Hello, my name is Job."

    I can't take it anymore: what EPISODE was that!!??

    do you mean the episode called 'SOBs'? i think in that episode the rich people are in the prison having dinner and Gob shows a video about tobias and GvH (graft vs host)...

    that's the only episode i can think of where he shows a video of tricks to people

    i have the wrong episode, i'll figure it out eventually

    but he does say Gob (properly) it just sounds a bit different, almost like job

    I love when GOB has the video of George Michael doing his 'Star Wars' fight scene, proving how awful TBA could be..."Hang in there little dude, we'll find a cure yet..." as an embarrassed GMB notices that the whole room is looking at him kills me every time.

    Another favorite...

    When one of GOB's illusion assistants (the leg portion for the illusion of sawing a lady in half inside a box) is a no show...

    "Where will we ever find some smooth, sexy, ladies legs on such short notice?" as the camera pans to include a close up on the always incredibly uncomfortable GMB (cue music: "Whatcha tryin' to say to me?")

    I don't really remember that line--though now that you mention the scene, it sounds vaguely familiar...

    The only thing I could think that comes close is Storming the Castle in Season 1 when the announcer at the Magic Castle pronounces his name wrong, "A magician named Gob". Probably not what you were looking for but I'll keep thinkin'.

    Was it when he was viewing his film about tricks around the office called 'Tricks (let me finish) Around The Office'?

    Side note: Can you believe GOB referred to his illusions around the office as tricks? Is GOB now a whore who does tricks for money...or cocaine?

    That really doesn't sound like a quote from the show. Storming The Castle is the closest but it doesn't involve him mis-pronouncing his name,

    In the very first episode, the news reporter says Job when she reveals how the Aztec Tomb works.

    Also, when Gob is Buster's assistance for the Sword of Destiny illusion, I "think" somebody calls him Job. OR it might've been during the Saw-the-woman-in-half illusion.

    Over the summer I watched all the seasons a few times, and I am 92% sure Gob never mispronounced his own name.

    I love the announcer saying, "A magician named GOB." Cracks me up every time. Later in the same episode, he does it again, when the stage hand tells Michael, GMB, and Marta, "Someone tell GOB his legs aren't here..."
