It is mentioned several times, them living in Orange County, People having The Obsessive Compulsive Dissorder, etc. Could somene fill me in the reason for this joke.

Sorry I'm not sure what this refers to is it that "The O.C" is doing so much better on Fox than A.D? And that is why A.D will get cancelled, or what?

I have a feeling the joke is more along the lines of you must have some sort of disorder to watch the O.C. An idea I can't quite disagree with

Actually, this joke is taking aim at the "fad" of people now referring to Orange County as "The O.C." which didn't happen prior to that show airing. Now that the show is on, people think that it's KEWL to refer to it as that. (Don't call it that...)

A couple years ago, somebody actually suggested that they rename the John Wayne Airport The O.C. Airport to capitalize on the trend, which plenty of people were P.O.'ed over, since nobody who actually lives there calls it that, just posers who watch the show. The O.C. Disorder was just a call back to the joke that had previously established.

AD is just taking a stab at the OC. It's that simple, they did the same thing with Prison Break-in.

If John Wayne heard that his airport was being renamed after that crap he'd roll over in his grave. That's flat out sacrilege. John Wayne is an American icon.... The O.C. is just an even more lame rip-off of Beverly Hills 90210.

THe OC's worse than a 90210 ripoff...its a younger version of Bold and the Beautiful!

But yes, many of my friends in the OC are pissed at that. They find that people living outside Orange County call it the OC more tahn people who do live there.

Its really for people who have nothing interesting in their lives. So to fulfill that interests they much watch something that is either mildly interesting or insanely fake and complicated (OMG! his brothers ex-wife slept with his car mechanic who was also the lawyer that filed their divorce, but is really a repressed homosexual!)

yeah i totally agree with that, i did post that i saw a commercial last week, that FOX promoted the hell out of (any other show rather than AD), the main kid was going to "throw his life away" by smoking some joints, i laughed so damn hard at how stupid that was, he obviously already had the weed, he pulled out a baggie with a few joints in it, so stupid.
