I have watched the entire series 3 times and have enjoyed it more than the time before each time through.  The problem is that I find it hard to watch anything else because it just seems that nothing can measure up to the quality of this show.  Does anybody have any suggestions for good television comedies that could be funny even after this show?

Scrubs is quite similar as it's cleverly written and hilarious so you might want to try that (the best season is 2)

The closest things to Arrested Development are

The American version of The Office (hands down the best show on TV, and the closest to AD)

Curb Your Enthusiasm is somewhat similar too.

Nothing is even close to Arrested Development, but NBC's Thursday Night Comedies are still pretty good. In addition to the aforementioned Scrubs and The Office, 30 Rock is shaping up to be a pretty good show. Will Arnett (Gob) guest starred in this week's episode and pretty much stole the show as Alec Baldwin's gay rival.

    Will Arnett: You're going down!

Alec Baldwin: No. I don't do that.
