Let's see there was... The Bluth Co. The Frozen Banana Stand Gobias Industries Franklin CD's aka 'Franklin Comes Alive' The Corn-baller 'Boy Fight' tapes and dvd's The rights to the song "All You Need Are Smiles" 'Team-O-Cil' and other products of Dr. Funke's All Natural Family Band Solution (or something like that) GOB's gigs as an "illusionist" Gobias' job as an analyst/therapist, or as he called it, his job as the worlds 1st 'analrapist' Busters Army salary Oscars lemonade stand Linseys job at a clothing store, and her two failed businesses: 'Dip-a-Pet' in which she dye colored pets, and her job as a baby to adult facial forcaster with 'Mommy, What Will I Look Like?' Just a frivilous topic here for no real reason, but this board has some creative minds and a weird topic may indeed be fun. Maybe not, but what the heck? What other mney makers or losers am I forgetting? I'm sure there are probably at least a few more I failed to name, but if you had to invest your last monopoly dollar in any one of the above mentioned companies, which would it be?

What about Tobias' and GOB's Gobias Industries? I guess I would invest in the Frozen Banana Stand, there's always money in the banana stand!

That's right the book! Barry's assistant was at the reading, that was great.

David Cross had great inflection when speaking as Tobias. I loved the times when Tobias says

"This is the first that, we, here, at Gobias Industries are hearing about this..."

    and

    "...just STEAMROLLED Gobias!"

and when Tobias tells Michael that Gobias' offer came off the table at midnight in what was possibly "the worst bluff ever" as Ron Howard narrated that "Even the members of Gobias knew this..."

I just love the name Gobias Industries. Just saying it, or in this case typing it, never ceases to make me chuckle if not outright laugh.

Then I see what else is being put on television and I get angry that 'Arrested' got cancelled. Does anybody else ever get frustrated about that, or do I indeed need to just let it go and enjoy Arrested via dvd's and re-runs on G4?

No, you're not alone in that, Mark.

I think it's terribly sad that such an amazing show was cancelled while there is so much crap tv that just keeps going.

It's a travesty, is what it is.

It wasn't a business venture, but there was the incident where Micheal burned down the Banana Stand, only to find out something like $100,000 was stashed inside the walls.

Also those "lessons" couldn't have been cheap to put together.

The J. Walter Weatherman running gag may be the most brilliant one ever devised in television history. 'Killing' him by leaving the door open with the air conditioner running never ceases to bring tears to my eyes I laugh so hard. It's like Lenny and Squiggy saying 'Hello!', when you hear someone on 'Arrested' mention hiring J. Walter Weatherman that the gag is coming, but (like the Gene Parmesan running gag), it still 'gets you' every single time it's executed. You see it coming a mile away but it still cracks you up every time you see it. I love that stuff.

not to get off topic or anything...

but my favorite running gag is the whole chicken-dance thing.

also, the oscar-buster thing. "oh...[something]your FATHER....."
