Arrested Development

Michael and George Michael are waiting to meet with the headmaster of the Milford Academy, a prestigious school Buster attended (and surprisingly excelled at) when he was young. The motto there is that children be seen and not heard. Literally. Unfortunately, George Michael is rejected after the headmaster sees an article in the paper about Lucille and Lindsay fighting at a blue-collar restaurant. Michael decides the Bluths need to improve their name, and hires a publicist named Jesse, a woman he has been flirting with at the gym.

Jesse quickly comes in and, after showing them the webcam George Sr. has been hooked up to in jail, tells each and every one what they should do. Michael should be featured as the new face of the family, Buster should be seen and not heard, Gob should do charity work, Lindsay should get a job. Tobias is sent to Boston to reclaim his medical license in Boston.

Tobias is a little flustered about doing so, but decides to go anyway. On the van taking him there, he meets actor Carl Weathers. Tobias believes this is another sign sent for him to be an actor, and gives Carl Weathers the money for his trip to take acting lessons.

George Michael realizes that he doesn't want to be at the Milford Academy. Lindsay is at her new job buying expensive wine to attract customers. Gob is performing at a senior center. Buster, well, is being seen and not heard.

Jesse takes Michael on their first date. Michael enjoys it, but after meeting with his son, he thinks he should take it slow. Jesse, however, thinks that Michael is letting his son take control of every decision he makes. Jesse quits the job. This doesn't help Gob, who has disappeared a man permanently. However, he finds the man in his truck after the press had left. The man turns out to be the founder of the Milford Academy, and Gob likes the idea of being a hero.

At the restaurant, Michael and Lucille are enjoying dinner, when Jesse comes in and shows them and Lindsay the story she printed about the Bluths and how awful they are. Lindsay and Lucille resolve to try and beat up Jesse. Michael tells his son to, again, be more honest with him. Tobias tells Lindsay he needs to follow his dream under Mr. Weathers' tutelage.
