Maeby was celebrating her sixteenth birthday in the previous episode, and although she is younger than George Michael, in this episode Michael says he is fifteen.

CNBC's Jim Cramer upgrades Bluth stock from "Don't Buy" to "Risky." This was the second time Jim Cramer upgraded the stock in season 3. He upgraded the stock from "Sell" to "Don't Buy" earlier in the season in "The Cabin Show."

In the final four episodes, Lindsay mentions that she is 35, then later 37, until she is actually found out to be 40.

Michael mentions that if each person sells their stock, it would be about 2 million dollars each. The average cost of an episode of Arrested Development is 2 million dollars.

When George Michael tells his father about his feelings for Maeby, he says that he has felt this way for about 53 weeks. This is obviously a reference to the fact that this was the 53rd and last episode.

Gary Cole (the CIA agent) and Jason Bateman previously worked together in 2004's Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story as the commentators for the dodgeball tournament.

Although the nurse's name is mentioned as Adelaide, her nametag says "Nurse Julia".

When Michael returns to the office in the final scene, there is a printout of a poster taped onto the wall that reads "Workers Love Nellie," which was a repeating joke during season 3, referring to the previous posters the Bluths have made: "Family Love Michael" & "Family Love Rita."

The information for Nellie in George's secret file says "Nellie -- Conslutant". A bit of foreshadowing for her career.

Nellie Bluth is played by Justine Bateman, who is Jason Bateman's (Michael Bluth) older sister.

During the original airing of this episode, Jeffery Tambor appeared as himself in an ad for Progressive Insurance.

While Jan Eagle is talking to Michael, she pours a cup of coffee. However, she puts the coffee jug down twice.

While Michael is giving his speech, there's a reaction shot of George Sr. without his glasses on in between clips where he's wearing glasses (the one after showing him taking them off).

George, Sr.: I think it's showtime. This reference was toward the premium cable channel Showtime, which showed interest in picking up the series (although this episode was filmed before the Showtime speculation started).

The "Home Builder's Organization" reference is toward the premium cable channel HBO (since the network had shown no interest in picking up the series).

On the "Variety" Homepage with the top-story "Movie execs doing "Snow" again," there's an ad saying "This Fall Reinhold Justice Will Be Done!" This is a reference to actor Judge Reinhold.

The discussion about attempting to recruit an Oscar-winning actress -- "maybe Nicole Kidman" -- for the Save Our Bluths party is a reference to Oscar winner Charlize Theron, who guest-starred in previous episodes as Rita, Michael's mentally-challenged British girlfriend/fiance.

The two strippers in front of Gob's "Banana Shack" are called Barbara and Dee. These were also the names of Michael's earlier girlfriends in "Forget Me Now" when he was reminiscing how introducing his family to his girlfriends ruined their relationship.
