Tony Wonder's newspaper articles:
-"Despite the oohs and ahs of the mean audience there was one disgruntled ex-magician who was seen doing some sort of chicken-type dance at fevered pitch [Gob]".
-"[The trick] was once contemplated by Houdini himself but that the ovens during that time period were either too small or booked way in advance".
The "Dirty Ears" coin trick Buster uses is exactly what earned Gob a shiv to his side.
The employees have the "Mission Accomplished" banner from "The One Where They Build a House" in the office when they are happy about dropping a story.
Gob squirted the shopkeeper at Ancient Chinese Secret with lighter fluid, and then asked where the lighter fluid came from. He also did this to Sally Sitwell once.
It's obvious that Tobias is wearing a fake mustache due to his Mrs. Featherbottom not having one. Ironically, the mustache has always been glued on the actor throughout the series.
Lindsay is seen wearing her "SLUT" t-shirt in George Michael's campaign video.
The rapid-fire images from George Michael's campaign video were:
1) A spoon of white powder and a hypodermic syringe.
2) A pentagram.
3) A Klansman and a burning cross.
4) A dark, raptorial bird in a tree.
5) A saluting Nazi.
6) Mr. Bananagrabber.
7) A five-pointed star drawn in blood.
Tobias sneaks on to (and lives on) the set of Detective Frank Wrench. The show Wrench was featured in the episode "Burning Love".
If you look closely, in the scene where Lindsay attempts to seduce Tobias, you will notice that Tobias is reading "Poof" Magazine.
When Gob says that the video he is shooting is called "Tricks..."--let me finish...--"... around the office'" it's a callback to the season 1 finale "Let 'Em Eat Cake" when Gob says "Macaroni..."--let me finish--"... salad".
In Gob's attempts to make George Michael look like a "cool guy," he makes him wear his leather with red and white striped jacket, the same one he is wearing in the rest of the episode.
When Gob is describing his new way to make money, he says he is going to perform "tricks" around the office and call it "Tricks [lemme finish] around the Office" but in any past episode if someone else says "tricks" around Gob he corrects them saying "Illusions! Tricks are what a whore does"
When the "Indian kid" is showing his campaign video to the school, a cameraman can easily be seen in the bleachers behind Gob.
The stuffed seal in Buster's bed is what he won in the episode "Afternoon Delight".
In the flashbacks of Buster & Lucille's "Best Couple" wins at Motherboy, they're wearing matching outfits. This is a reference to their appearance on the cover of Balboa Bay Window magazine and Michael's statement that "You guys wore matching outfits until he was twelve" in the episode "Switch Hitter".
Tobias's license plates suggest he auditioned (or hoped) for roles as a con man, a prisoner, a stand in for the Blue Man Group, and Dr. House.
Lucille: We had a fight. Who knows about what?
Narrator: I do.
This marks the first time the narrator refers to himself in the first person.
After correcting Dave Attell on the proper use of cut-offs, Tobias mutters "there are dozens of us". He proclaimed this loudly when the crowd booed George Michael for wearing cutoffs in the Living Classics Pageant in "In God We Trust" in season 1.
After Buster accidentally breaks the driver side window of the stair car, some pieces of the shattered window disappear and reappear during his conversation with Michael.
The frame for Tobias's "INM8 2" vanity license plate says "Yes, your following..." at the top. This is grammatically incorrect. It should say "Yes, you're following..."
