  • Intense stuff!

This was a really good episode as a serial killer who escaped during the Undertaking is back to his favourite game, and that puts several of our main characters in the crosshairs.

I absolutely am intrigued by this new woman with the blonde hair - very curious to see exactly what her game is and who she is.

Also I absolutely love Felicity's role in catching the Dollmaker - she was amazing as usual!

The scenes on the island are interesting too - seems like not all of those 5 years were spent on the island after all...moreless
  • This show keeps on getting better!

This show keeps on getting better! Oliver joins forces with Det. Lance to catch an escaped creepy serial killer, We get to see more of the new female super hero and The Queens find out that the prosecution are seeking the death penalty for Oliver's mother.
  • fanboys rejoice

Arrow overloaded fanboys with more DC Comics mentions than I could count, including Oliver being called the Arrow for the first time, and Ras al Ghul.

Have you ever heard about DC Universe or The Justice League?

Ra's al Ghul is known for destroying cities full with crime and Gotham is not the only city in the DC Universe.
  • Batman copycats

    oh come on batman again

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Quentin: I thought you were done killing people.
      The Hood: He'll live.
Quentin: Yeah, but he'll report me to my lieutenant.
The Hood: He won't talk to anyone.
Quentin: What makes you so sure?
The Hood: Because he has another shoulder.

    • Barton Mathis: What comes next is really quite exquisite. The sound of an esophagus slowly hardening. Like a symphony.

    • Roy: I'm looking for someone. A blonde, who likes black leather.
      Fence: Sounds like your type.
Roy: And beats the crap out of guys with a bo staff.
Fence: That still sounds like your type.

    • Adam Donner: Your client aided and abetted an act of mass murder. Five hundred and three conversations wouldn't convince me that Moira Queen shouldn't be the 504th fatality.

  • NOTES (8)

    • In the comics, Barton Mathis is a serial killer who wears a mask made out of his dead father's face. The Joker convinced Dollmaker to cut off his face. Dollmaker was created by Tony S. Daniel and Ryan Winn: the Dollmaker's defense attorney in this episode is named Tony Daniel.

    • Injoke: The ship that Ivo is aboard is named Amazo. In the comics, Professor Ivo created the android Amazo, which can duplicate the powers of the Justice League.

    • Injoke: Quentin's police ID is DC 52 (delta charlie 52). New 52 is the name of the new continuity in DC comic books, after the reboot in 2011.

    • Injoke: Moira's defense attorney is Jean Loring. In the comics, Jean Loring is the girlfriend and later wife of the superhero The Atom. They later divorce and Jean suffers a mental breakdown, eventually killing the wife of another superhero and becoming a villainous incarnation of Eclipso.

    • Injoke: The private lab that Quentin and the Hood break into is Granger Laboratories. In the comics, Dawn Granger is one half of the superhero team of Hawk and Dove.

    • Injoke: In the comics, Black Canary is a member of the Birds of Prey,  who have used a clocktower as their base of operations. Here Black Canary also uses a clocktower as a base of her HQ.

    • Injoke: Mathis hides out at the Metamorpho Chemical factory. In the comics, Metamorpho is a superhero who can transform his body into any chemical element.
