Olivers Relationship (and other Arrowverse problems)
I finally found an article that puts into words how I feel about Olivers relationship with Felicity.
The relationship between Black Canary and Green Arrow in the comics is one of the most lasting and solid in the history of the medium. Their union is so strong that when Superman kills both of them in the Injustice storyline, Dr. Fate brings Black Canary back to life and takes her to be with an alternate dimension’s Green Arrow, and the two of them just accept this arrangement immediately.
So far, the Arrowverse is on its fourth Black Canary, and none of them have lived up to the source material. That’s true of many characters on these shows, but this one feels especially bad considering how important she is in the books. Laurel Lance comes closest, which makes sense, but the show doesn’t do much with her until it ...

What was Malcom Doing with Vandal Savage's Ashes?
I believe that Malcom is going to try and restart the Lazurus Pit with them. His main reason for wanting to become Ra's al Ghul was to have access to the Pit and escape death. Lookat his fear when Ra's captured him in season 3; he is willing to do anything to avoid it.Love to hear people's thoughts on this.

I believe I know who is in the grave now...
I don't really know where this popped into my head, but, I know everyone is pretty certain at this point it is Lance or Thea who died though there are valid counterarguments to both. But I just had an idea that grew out of an oddly happy place. Last week on the Flash it was made pretty clear that Robert Queen survived and became the Arrow on Earth 2 and that Oliver died.

Now, I know the Arrow part of the cross over apparently takes place mainly in Central City which probably means "Harry" comes into contact with Oliver. What if he manages to orchestrate a message to Robert and unites the two Queens (he could figure out a way to have Robert help save Jesse). Maybe it goes totally swell, but if Robert had taken the fight right to Malcolm when he got back, maybe he disagrees with ...Read more

Olicity type post (don't click if you hate)
So, I am rewatching the first two seasons of Arrow, for no particular reason other than I didn't feel like watching anything new toward the end of the holiday weekend and I'd just finished my Heroes rewatch. This is going to lead into a POI rewatch basically because I talked myself out of it that the first couple of seasons will seem so....simple? And I didn't think I could watch when Finch and Reese didn't 100% trust each other. Anyway, I've observed a few things that in hindsight make me basically go, oh, okay. Like, for instance, Diggle really laid out his only two rules to Oliver at the beginning, which Oliver betrayed both of in Season 3 (not to be played and not to outright lie), I'm still very curious how much Oliver told Diggle of his missing five years in the ...Read more

I have a theory that might explain everything.....
Maseo is behind everything!!!

After the events in Hong Kong, he has been on a revenge quest. While I don't know if there is a connection between Shreve and HIVE, on the show probably will be. He discovered the Dark/Hive/Ra's/LOA connection and figured out LOA was the best way at them. While there, he realized (because he hasn't) that Ra's had no plans to go after HIVE for whatever reason. So, Maseo waited. Then Sara returned and since they were like training buddies, she shared with him tales of Oliver. Maseo and Oliver's connection is hidden, mainly because Argus hid Oliver's existence and Waller probably kept the secret. So, Maseo set out to get Oliver to replace Ra's or at least join the LOA. He knew Thea was the way in, so he sent DJ after her and the whole ...Read more

Spin-off = Flashpoint?
I have a strong suspicion that the Spin-off show in the works takes place in an alternate timeline triggered by the events of the Flash Season 1 Finale. Bare with me here; they have already confirmed that The Flash will be running a major comic story line, and the Flash and Arrow coexist in the same universe with cross-overs.

In the comics, Flashpoint is triggered when The Flash goes back in time and saves Nora Allen from the Reverse Flash. This causes an alternate reality in which all of the superheroes are different (eg, Bruce Wayne dies, instead of Thomas and Martha and Thomas Wayne becomes a murderous Batman and Martha becomes the Joker) and the lives of everyone in the DC Universe are greatly affected.

Whilst they will not be able to run the entire Flashpoint storyline with too many of the heroes missing, they will be able to ...Read more

not receiving updates
I couldn't find a way of making a general post, so I'll have to do it for a show.
Since sometime in December, I haven't been receiving the 'there is a new episode of xyz show on tonight' emails. I thought it was because some where taking a winter mid-season break, but this does not seem to be the cause.
Any ideas?

Arrow is a modern retelling of the DC Comic character Green Arrow. Multi-millionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing, and presumed dead after a shipwreck at sea. He is found five years later, having survived on a desert island off his wits and by mastering the bow and arrow. When he returns to Starling City however, he discovers that it is rife with corruption and crime. Oliver decides to put his skills to use by taking on the persona of Arrow and becoming the vigilante that Starling City needs.

The show stars Stephen Amell in the title role.

Green Arrow has been portrayed two times by a real life actor, and voiced in twelve separate cartoon/animations starting in 1973.
