This episode is awesome, you can see Oliver's downside, how he is being affected and distracted by Deathstroke. Nice plot. Nice script.

    1. Secrets kept from those whom you love are invariably revealed to them by your worst enemies at the worst possible moment under the worst possible circumstances.

    2. Keeping the people whom you love in the dark, in order to "keep them safe" invariably puts them in far greater danger than they would have been if had you simply been straight with them from the beginning.moreless

POOR THEA!!! That scene, the moment of truth for Thea about her real father sooooo awesome!!! I LUV ARROW!!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK!!! I hope Merlyn comes back!!!!
  • Not bad but...

    8.5
I think the Thea/Roy story is getting boring, they need to kill the pair of them off the show. They need to concentrate more on Oliver and his crime fighting. I do like the relationship with black canary and the island flashbacks, I hope the writers keep this going. Laurel is also getting quite boring, perhaps the writers can make her lose her mind so she ends up in an asylum or something. Too many people know that Oliver is the arrow so time to put down some of these characters. I wonder how the writers will get Oliver's company back in his control? The way it was taken from him was a very weak storyline bordering on ridiculous, come on writers you can do better. Let's just hope Oliver and Sara can get back to kicking ass whilst felicity provides se comic relief.moreless

    • Roy: What's the worst that could happen if I just told her the truth?
Felicity: Well, I told a guy the truth and he got struck by lightning. To be fair, probably won't happen again, statistically.

    • Felicity: (to Oliver) Do you remember where you put your business suit? Or do you keep it in a cool glass case, too?

    • Peter: And what gives any of us the right to decide one's life is more valuable than another?
Anatoly: He is tied up. We are not.

    • Moira: And how is Ms. Rochev these days? Still angry that Dorothy dropped a house on her sister?

    • Sara: Can you remove the explosive?
Anatoly: Certainly. Without it going off, eh. Less certain.

    • Moira: I've told you that these lies were to keep our family safe; to keep us all together, but that was the biggest lie of all. And I told it to you, to Thea, to myself. Because I was too weak to face any kind of truth.
Oliver: What's happening now isn't your fault.
Moira: From the moment your children are born, you worry what the world might do to them. But you never stop to think what you might do to them. that we could be our own worst enemy.

    • Sara: Ollie! What did you to do him?
      Slade: Not enough.

    • Slade: Don't worry. I am not here to harm you.
      Laurel: Go to hell!
Slade: All in good time, I'm sure.
