    • Haney Abuse Tracker: A couple times in "The Big Blow Up." Once when Francine and Brain argue over a plate of gelatin, it is flung backwards into the air and splats onto Mr. Haney's back. Twice during the mini golf scene when after a lamp post bulb destroys a windmill leaving the blade intact and the blade chases Mr. Haney away as he cries out in fear.

    • In "Arthur Versus the Piano," it is said that Arthur's music piece ends with a D-sharp. In reality, Fur Elise ends with A-sharp, and the "wrong note" Arthur hit was an A-flat, not a D-flat.

    • In the opening sequence of "The Big Blow-Up", the Cinar and WGBH logos are seen on the golf player's shirt and race-car.

    • The story of "Arthur vs. the Piano" inspired a song with the same name and is available on the CD, Arthur and Friends.

    • The soccer team that keeps beating Arthur's team is made up of caricatures of the character design team and some of the layout artists.

    • The song Arthur plays on the piano is "Fur Elise" by Ludwig Van Beethoven.

      Arthur plays Beethoven's "Fur Elise" on his piano recital. This may be a reference to the c Peanuts cartoons and comic strips where Schroeder always played Beethoven pieces on the piano (he also played "Fur Elise" in A Charlie Brown Christmas).
