Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • another gr8 ep

This is one of many great Arthur eps. I used to have the book of Arthurs pet bussinse, it was my favorite one of the Arthur books. I like this ep so much becuase of all the animals in it and it leads off onto how Arthur got Pal. I remeber though in the book Arthur and Francine run the bussniess togehter. I don\'t really like the D.W the copy cat ep much tough. Who would want to be Arthur when they could mimic somone way cooler like Buster or Binky or even Franicine,(who is the coolest of the girl characters.)moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • In Arthur's Pet Business, D.W.'s naked butt cheeks can be seen briefly when she is running out of the bathtub yelling for help (her towel flaps up near the back of her.)

    • Watch Perky's puppies in "Arthur's Pet Business." There's a palette shift in which two of them are a different color of yellow than the other and then when the angle changes for a second, they're all the same color.

    • When D.W. and Arthur are fighting over the remote control in "D.W. the Copycat," time seems to freeze on their respective shows: The Mary Moo-Cow Show and The Bionic Bunny Show. Proof-positive that if nobody is watching, nothing happens.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • D.W.: Arthur, you know I'd do anything for you for money.

    • Waitress: Do ya want a baby seat?
D.W.: That would be a thoughtful thing to ask... if there was a baby here!
Arthur: I wish you'd cut it out, D.W.
Binky: You can't fool me, Arthur. There can't be two of you! Who's this?!
Arthur: I'm Arthur. That's my sister.

  • NOTES (7)

    • Arthur: There are no babies in baseball.
Arthur references a line of Tom Hank's Jimmy character in A League of Their Own - "There's no crying in baseball."

    • Mr. Read: I've got your favorite, D.W.: banana and peanut butter.
Banana and peanut butter sandwiches were the favorite of the King of Rock and Roll: Elvis Presley.

    • Mr. Read: (regarding Perky) Isn't that the dog the mailman calls "Jaws?"
Perky's mean nickname comes from the movie by the same name about a dangerous shark.
