Trivia

FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • The map on the quiz Mr. Ratburn gives the kids has the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on it! The Soviet Union broke up back in 1991, five years before the show started airing.

  • Quotes

    • Muffy: The Crosswires are too important to be in this public library. We have our own private archives.

  • Notes

    • It's revealed that R4 and 3W are Arthur's great-grandkids as shown in the prologue and epilogue of "Background Blues".

    • On Mr. Ratburn's pedigree chart, his name is given as Emil. He has one sibling--his sister, Rodentia, from "Arthur's Substitute Teacher Trouble". Later episodes give Ratburn's name as Nigel.

    • This is a clever parody of Arthur's own "And Now a Word From Us Kids" interstitials. "Magic Toolbox" sounds a little like "Magic School Bus", but not enough to convince me that it's a reference.
