        Card Reader: Francine

      • And Now a Word From Us Kids: A girl talks about figure-skating.

    • QUOTES (12)

      • Mr. Frensky: If you win, I'm taking you out for ice cream. If you lose...
Binky: You'll drive us to the outskirts of town and leave us there?
Mr. Frensky: No Binky. If you lose, I still take you out for ice cream.
Binky: I'll never get to see the outskirts of town.

      • Mr. Frensky: A good playing team deserves ice cream.
Francine: Don't give an ice cream cone to Arthur, he'll just drop it. (Everyone laughs.)
Buster: Cheer up Arthur. I'll hold onto your ice cream for you.

      • Francine: How about that fly ball that hit Arthur on the head? (Taps herself in the head with a ball and imitates Arthur.) Duh, where's the ball? Where's the ball? Where's the ball?

      • D.W.: I don't care if it takes until I'm 21 and I'm one giant scab. I'm gonna learn to do this.

      • D.W.: I am not too little! I don't want any help! I can learn this stuff myself!

      • D.W.: Father, this broccoli is so good. I think I'd like some for dessert.
Mrs. Read: What do you want now, D.W.?

      • Arthur: This is a very important lesson! Avoid dogs!

      • D.W.: Let's go! I want to hit the open road and feel the wind in my hair!

      • D.W.: What's this mean? (She makes a goofy face by rattling her tongue.)
Arthur: (shakes head) I don't know. What?
(Mr. Sipple, the next-door neighbor, runs to D.W. with a cabbage and loans it to her.)
D.W.: Hi, Mr. Sipple. What's this?
Mr. Sipple: What's that?! You did this!
(He makes the same goofy face D.W. did.)
Mr. Sipple: Where I come from, doing that on a bike means "Bring me a cabbage, fast!" I left the tub running! Bye! (He runs back home.)

      • Brain: Let's start with the basics. This is a bicycle.

      • D.W.: My compliments to the chef. Everything is delicious.
Mr. Read: Well, how nice of you, honey.
Mrs. Read: Okay, D.W., what do you want?
D.W.: I want to ride a two-wheeler! If Arthur can do it, how hard can it be? Pleassse.

      • Timmy: I guess you can't ride in the bike-a-thon like us.
        Tommy: Because it's a bike-a-thon, not a trike-a-thon! (laughs meanly)

    • NOTES (1)

      • The episode D.W. Rides Again! is based off the book of the same name. Though several elements are similar, the Bike-a-Thon was created for the TV adaption only, and the book ended with Dad accidentally crashing into a lake on his bike, much to the amusement of D.W.
