  • The third graders of Mr. Ratburn's class put on a musical to honor the centennial celebration of Elwood city. Unfortunately, the lead, Francine, is nowhere to be seen!

Out of the many episodes of Arthur, this is always going to be one that I'll remember. The class all get to take part in the musical, "Oh, Elwood", which is for the 100th birthday of their town. Buster wants to add aliens to the plot, Mr. Ratburn wants everything to go just perfectly, unlike his last puppet show, Arthur can't handle the lead role, and Binky's pants keep ripping. This episode brings back all of the old guest stars that had been shown previously such as Mr. Rogers, Yo-yo Ma, Michelle Kwan, and the singing moose (Art Garfunkel). This toe tapping musical episode will be stuck in your head for days.
