If they have Spanish people, then what are species for?

When Buster visits real humans (I can ask on this board because they did the postcards from buster pilot on this show) is he visiting another world? If not, why are all the celebrities on this show drawn as animals?

In the episode 'The Secret About Secrets', is Mrs. Read implying that she's having 'T-W-I-N-S'?

Considering the numerous last day of school/summer episodes, why is it that Arthur and his friends never move on to fourth grade?

I referred to when she said at the dinnertable 'T-W-I-N-S'.

The whole Pal and Kate talking thing is really stupid (I started a forum post about it).

If all the "people" in Elwood city are animals, how can they have pets? Isn't that kind of weird? An aardvark owning a dog....they're both animals...

Does anyone know Binky's age? I mean I'm sure he's 9, but in the episode where Buster was about to flunk the big test, he said "3rd grade's not so bad the 2nd time around, or the third." Or something along those lines. I doubt he skip a grade, because he doesn't seem to be that bright, then...again.

Why is it that, in some episodes, the characters refer to one another as humans and, in others, refer to each other by their animal appearances.

And with that in mind, are these different Animal species the Arthur universe equivalent of races? And does Racism (or something similar) exist in the Arthur universe?

Well you don't really notice it because Arthur and his friends are really portrayed as humans.

The characters don't have races, but they do often have nationalities or religions.
