Well, apparently I'm not as in the "know" as everybody else about Arthur lingo and the characters names, but I saw the same thing on PBS-it was a special I was looking at that talked about the banned episode. And, as ILOVEMOLEMAN said before, it wasn't a WHOLE Arthur episode, there were supposed to be real human beings on one of the side segments they do-not sure if it's called Postcards from Buster, anyway, parents/viewers sent outraged letters,etc-and the show never aired. Here's a link that talks about it: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A40188-2005Jan26.html

Yes, the whole world is going to fall apart and all kids who see the show will turn into giant vampire bats because of some silly show and characters that it turns out we won't see after all.

    Get real.

The loopy and frankly bigoted things said by some people here, who no doubt have no idea at all what they are talking about, are quite worrisome. I guess this is where prejudiced adults come from-- must've been kids at some point.

What's even funnier, or perhaps sadder, is that the most ridiculous posts are riddled with spelling errors.

Nobody is trying to 'teach' you to do something or be something with this show. Although someone, at some juncture, should have tried to teach you how to write worth a hoot.

If it airs, I have no problem with it.

It's just that Arthur needs more episodes for the 11th season.

Hey! You've gotsta stop acting like a kid. Although we are on a kids show guide, you have to act your age...And yes, you are mistaken for Postcards From Buster...And don't call me an idiot.

I don't know why they have to hide these types of things from children.  I mean, we, and they are exposed to worse things in real life, so consider this nothing.  Besides, we're new generation people, and we are more tolerant of homosexuality.

Okay, here's the deal. The episode was from Postcards from Buster, not Arthur. It featured a brief moment in which Buster visited the family of a girl who had two Moms. There was a lot of controversy about it. But the supposed gay Arthur episode talked about here was never conceived and doesn't exist. Topic closed.
