Indeed, new eps land beginning on April 22, which is also Earth Day. Here's the details:

Heads-up! New episodes of Arthur begin this coming Friday, April 22. It begins with "Follow the Bouncing Ball / Buster Baxter and the Letter From the Sea," described as follows: Alberto Molina loses his soccer ball, signed by his favorite player El Boomerang; Buster finds a message in a bottle. I believe that the outdoorish theme of this episode may be designed to coordinate with Earth Day, as PBSKids is airing a bevy of other Earth Day-themed programming on that day, including new episodes of some of its shows.

The fun continues the week after, starting on April 25.

April 25 - "Around the World in 11 Minutes / Muffy and the Big Bad Blog" - "Nemo dares his friends to travel around the world and return within 11 minutes; Muffy goes too far with her web-blogging." (Note: I have already seen the second half online - it's very entertaining.)

April 26 - "Arthur Unravels / All the Rage" - "Grandma Thora teaches Arthur how to knit; Muffy wants to create a fashion fad."

April 27 - "D.W., Queen of the Comeback / In My Africa" - "D.W. responds to teasing; D.W., Brain, and Cheikh write a song about African countries."

April 28 - "Buster Spaces Out / The Long Road Home" - "Buster wants to go to outer space; George is determined to walk from Crown City to Elwood City to raise money for charity."

    Follow The Bouncing Ball:

Pretty exciting episode about an autographed, getaway soccer ball.

Buster Baxter and the Letter from the Sea:

What are the odds of finding a letter in a bottle at sea? A million to one. Nice episode.

I really liked: April 26 - "Arthur Unravels / All the Rage" - "Grandma Thora teaches Arthur how to knit; Muffy wants to create a fashion fad."

I totally missed the one with Muffy online. Anytime Muffy gets her just do makes me happy.

Buster has become my new hated character.

The appearance of the autographed soccer ball always took me by surprise. In every episode, there it was!

Did anyone else notice that the mermaid on the book Buster had in the episode where he found the message in the bottle had the same pattern as Ariel from The Little Mermaid? Did the "In my Africa song." cover all of the countries in Africa? Also why aren't there any topics to discuss each new episode separately?

-I didn't notice that Ariel thing. Hopefully when it repeats again, I'll look for it.

-I don't think they did do all the countries.

-As for individual episode threads, I say go for it.

Will there be anymore new episodes?

Anyway, my top favorite episode has to be Around the World in 11 Minutes. Very funny and cute.

The spring/summer seems to be the time when the new episodes are, not bad for a show that's been going for 15 years.

I take it that the episode "Fifteen" is about the 15th anniversary of the show.

I was thinking the same thing because the only ones I think that never changed were Buster and Francine.
