I dont know if this is a duplicate...whatever, anyways.

Have you heard the newer voices? Like for The Brain and Sue Ellen? Who totally hates them?

    I cant stand Sue Ellen's!

i don't like arthur's voice anymore either. i liked it better in the first seasons. but now it sounds too feminine. and it's funny that it got higher as he got older.

Why is it that D.W. and Arthur's voice actors have always been boys who are probably under 13?

He's a boy. Why don't they just hire older people do to the voice for Brain, Arthur and D.W.? I mean the person who does Muffy's voice has never changed, because she's 25.

I know! I can't stand it when studios/companies replace actors, even in live-action, but especially animation. There was a point when I stopped watching Arthur for a time, and that was right around the time they replaced a bunch of actors. ;_; When I recently started watching it again, I thought I was going to cry (not literally, but you know how it is). Michael Yarmush's voice was perfect for the role of Arthur; my sister and I always joke that he sounds like a girl now. D.W. also sounds more like a little girl, which I think is a better fit, but I was also used to her first voice. Not to mention Brain sounded a little too squeaky around a couple middle seasons. I still prefer his original voice too. Oh, well...I guess that's what you get when a series is around that long. At least Danny Brochu, Melissa Altro, Jodie Resther, and others stayed on. But, I'm just venting. We can always watch season 1 for the originals.
