I really can't stand the episodes when Pal and Kate talk. Arthur is an excellent show, but I think that these episodes are really lame.

I didn't really enjoy their "dog-baby communication" either. Although it's somewhat amusing, I could do without it. At least there are only 2 episodes like this...
I don't really like the fact that sometimes, you can only hear the Arthur characters say gibberish instead of real English... most dogs can hear what their owners say... they won't be able to talk back, but they know they're saying something! Same thing goes for babies, too.
Oh, well. I guess it isn't that bad when you think about it...

Ugh. I can't stand the talking episodes. Who really thinks dogs and babies can talk to each other?

It really dumbs the show down, and takes it off on a wild tangent.
Arthur was never intended to be a Rugrats ripoff!
No one would have ever susprcted this in the years the show first aired.

I actually don't mind it. I think Kate's cute, even if she is only talking to a dog.

I thought it was cute when baby Kate and Pal were talking. I mean, I know it not exactly believable - BUT I also have never seen a talking aardvark! Come on, it's just a cartoon!!

I know that it's just a cartoon, but usually Arthur stays within the realm of realistic fiction. I don't recall seeing an episode that was unrealisitc except for these Pal and Kate talking ones.

Kate talking wouldn't have bothered me so much if they had aged her to 1 1/2 or 2. Not only that but she doesn't sound like a baby when she talks, more like an intelligent adult. Then there's that whole older kids and adults are slow learners. Wasn't that the same thing D.W. thought?

The first time I saw it I thought it was okay. But when they made more episodes where they talk it got lame.
