Why do the writers hate Sue Ellen so much?

It's happening again--the fourth season in a row where Sue Ellen is left out of almost every episode.  Why are the writers treating her so horribly?  What did she do to cheese them off?

Sue Ellen had an episode with her in it during the 8th Season. I think that now they might be switching Sue Ellen with George.

I've been in contact with Jessica Kardos, the new Sue Ellen voice.  Here's the link:

By her account, the writers tried to phase SE out of the show at one point.  Judging from season 9, they almost succeeded.  Why they changed their minds, I don't know.

I hate how they did that, she was one of my favorite characters.

ahhh! is she coming back at all?
If they're going to do that they should at least make her move away or something, and it would be realistic because her family moves alot

I think the reason why Sue Ellen is not seen in much episodes is because she is not one of the main characters. She's consider more of a minority in the show. Same thing with George. You don't see George much because he's not a major character. Although, I would settle if George is in the show more often. George is one of the characters that I enjoy. He's quiet and nice.

    What about Fern and Jenna?
I know Jenna is a minority character
but Fern has been in more episodes in the recent episodes
so would you say shes Major or Minority?

Jenna got a stint in a couple episodes a few years ago, but then she kind of fell into the background again as of late. I'd consider her a minor character. I never really cared too much for her, to be honest; she's basically yet another sporty tomboy female.

Fern started off as a background character, then she had a few episodes every now and then. After the "It's Only Rock and Roll" hour-long special, I'd say that Fern has become a major character.

At least they have an episode or two about them. What about those other two or three kids in Mr. Ratburn's class who don't really speak?
