When the Athlete of the Year Award doesn't go to Francine, she makes no effort to hide her hurt feelings from Jenna, the recipient. Michelle Kwan, world champion figure skater and graduate of Lakewood Elementary (who knew?), guest stars to teach Francine about good sports(wo)manship.

Arthur can't believe his parents are hiring a babysitter -- he's 8 years old! Besides, babysitters are b-o-r-i-n-g! But 16-year old Sally MacGill's favourite hobbies are eating ice cream and playing the Dark Bunny VI: Curse of the Moomy videogame, and now all Arthur can think is ... wow.moreless

    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (5)

      • Arthur brought a sleeping bag to sleep over Buster's house, but Buster has a bunk bed.

      • Arthur and his friends must really have a problem with sheep, because "Crushed" is the second time that one has been portrayed as a villain. The first was in "Sue Ellen Gets Her Goose Cooked," when Buster thought that FOURHAND451 was a mutant sheep.

      • When he found out Sally's high score in "Dark Bunny VI," Arthur fidgets with glasses when saying that his score is higher. As seen in previous episodes, this unconscious tell of Arthur's indicates that he's lying.

      • In "Crushed," Sally and Arthur play "Dark Bunny VI," but Dark Bunny is a new show, a very recent spin-off of Bionic Bunny. It's not possible that six games were created that fast.

      • In "The Good Sport," D.W. says that she never meets anyone famous, but she has met Mister Rogers, the President of the United States, Yo-Yo Ma, and Joshua Redman.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Mrs. Read: So, I take it you and Sally had fun.
        (Arthur remains spechless)
        Mrs. Read: Ar-thur...?
Arthur: Huh? Oh, she was okay..

    • NOTES (3)

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • In the beginning of "Crushed," Buster looks into the camera and says "Roll the tape, Greg."

Buster is addressing Greg Bailey, the director of Arthur.
