Real-Kids Segment: A group of kids do cooking with the real Ming Tsai, including his son.
Binky reads the title card for "What's Cooking?" It's the one where an egg cracks open to reveal the gang, but they're scared away by a giant bird. Francine reads the title card for "Buster's Special Delivery." It's the one where a spaceship lands and the occupant removes its alien head --- to reveal that it's actually Buster.
Buster: I'm too tired to eat.
Buster: Well, of course I'm tired! Do you know what kind of stress I'm under at work?
Mr. Higgins: Can I impart some words of wisdom to you --- one mailman to another?
Mr. Higgins: This is the creed we all live by --- neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom sways these carriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
Buster: What does that mean?
Mr. Higgins: It means nothing stops us from delivering the mail.
Mr. Haney: What are three adjectives that describe the "real you?"
George: Uh --- quiet, shy, afraid of you.
Arthur: It's important not to give up on something you like to do.
Ming: (in real-kids segment) You can't have fried rice without rice.
Muffy: (regarding Ming) Even though he's famous, he's friendly.
Ming: (in Muffy's "American Chef Idol" fantasy) I have to say, Muffy, that bite of quiche was a complete waste of taste buds and saliva.
Paula Abdul Spoof Judge: (slaps Ming) Ming, you awful brute. How can you say such a thing about Muffy's quiche? Muffy, your quiche lorraine was delicious.
Ming: It was vomitrocious. It was an absolute disgrace. Muffy should be forbidden from cooking ever again.
Muffy: But I didn't even make this quiche. My cook did.
Arthur: I hope Ming Tsai is nice.
Muffy: I wouldn't count on it. Ming Tsai was voted one of the fifty most beautiful people in "Famous Faces" magaznie.
Muffy: So, he's not only famous, he's glamorous. What if my quiche lorraine doesn't have enough glamor?
Mr. Read: Nothing makes a cake taste less sophisticated than extra sugar.
Mr. Read: A great chef always has a signature. Something that makes his recipe unique.
Arthur: I already know what I wanna make. Chocolate cake. I love chocolate cake.
Mr. Read: I have a terrific recipe for chocolate brandy cake with roasted hazelnut filling.
Arthur: I just want a simple chocolate cake, Dad. And I wanna make it all by myself, with no help.
In "What's Cooking," Muffy fantasizes American Chef Idol, a spoof of American Idol. Ming Tsai speaks much as Simon Cowell would and there's another judge intended to be like Paula Abdul.
