Ending #1 where Jamie and Sooz survive was shown in England, Ireland, Latin America, Australia, France, Brazil and several other minor countries around the world.

It is presumed that two endings were filmed, because producers wanted a dramatic ending if the series were never to return, so they decided to kill off the main characters. Another ending was filmed however, in case of the unlikely event of the show returning for another series.
