Nicki's date of birth on her passport is shown to be 25th March, 1985. This would make her just 18 years old.
In the first few seconds of the programme we see a flashback of Sooz and Tyler making love but the tattoo on Sooz's right upper arm is missing.
In this episode; we discover that all of the group (apart from Jamie) have discovered that Sooz has slept with Tyler. Sooz told Rob, Rob told Alex, Alex told Sasha, Sasha told Nicki, etc.
This is one of the very rare episodes, in which no one talks to or addresses the camera at all. Even though it's Rob's POV. Instead of talking to the camera, Rob talks to a counsellor. This episode is unofficially called "Rob's Issues".
It's raining all the way throughout this episode, but in certain scenes, it's quite clear that it's stopped raining and is totally dry outside. And when Alex comes back from being out, he doesn't look wet whatsoever.
Despite the Root Bar being one of the main sets on the show, in this episode we see the front entrance for the first time.
Alex goes onto world famous Internet search engine 'Ask Jeeves' in this episode, and he asks Jeeves how he can find more gay friends. He searches for this question and finds the answer with a gay men's dining club.
When we see Alex in the opera, Richard is sitting to the left of him. However, when we flashback to the same scene when Alex is falling asleep, Richard is now sitting to the right of him.
In the art gallery Sooz and Tyler are admiring an orange coloured painting by an artist called Mira King. They are both impressed until Sooz sees the price tag and exclaims, "Twenty-three thousand pounds!" The printed price is actually £20,000.
The meal enjoyed by Tyler and Sooz cost a staggering £122.95, according to the till receipt. Between them they consumed "1 whole chicken", "1 misc. food" and 3 bottles of Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne. This seems a little excessive for students on a tight budget, especially considering that Jamie and Alex were living off baked beans and liver. The red wine in the glasses on their table must have been compliments from the house as they weren't charged for it.
Nicki's ring tone has changed to just plain ringing and vibrating. In previous seasons her phone wolf whistled.
The departures board at Waterloo International station indicates that the next departure for Paris is due to leave at 1253. However when Alex drags Nicki out of the toilet to confront her dilemma, the station clock reads approximately 1026, despite Nicki having already said, with a glance at her wristwatch and a squeal of panic, that the train departs "soon".
The names Amber suggested for Rob's cookbook were 'Licensed to Grill', 'Some Like It Hotpot', 'Four Weddings and a Barbeque' and 'The Magnificent Oven'.
In Sooz and Jamie's room, we see the photo art piece of Jamie sleeping in the park that Sooz completed in episode 406.
When Jamie's cooking the meal for Sooz, Katie and himself we hear the sound of a doorbell announcing Katie's arrival (or so Jamie thinks - when he answers the door it's actually Tyler). However the flat has an entryphone with a buzzer not a bell, as we have already seen in this and the previous episode.
The Indian restaurant and takeaway that Jamie, Sooz, and Alex's flat is situated above, is called the Tandoori and Balti Palace.
When Katie introduces herself to Jamie in College, she says that she is lost. But then she says 'You were here last year weren't you?'. How would she know he was there last year if she's new. And if she's not new, then why exactly is she lost?
Jamie spent his student loan on; clothes including a new leather jacket, a new mobile phone for Sooz, nights out with his friends including expensive cocktails and Sparky, an electric toy dog.
The outside of Jamie's parents house (where he previously lived in Seasons 1 - 3) has changed, and it is now a completely different house. The only explanation for this is that his parents have moved, but this is not stated in the episode at all.
Alex spills wine over Darna at the party, but just seconds later as we see Darna walk over to see MC Goldfinger, the patch of wine has completely disappeared without a trace.
