Just like GL before, As the World Turns was canceled. CBS is not renewing it for another season Last airdate in 9/2010.

WHAT!!! First Guiding Light and now CBS pulls this garbage again by cancelling my favorite show ATWT, that I've watched for almost 13 years, the fans have to speak out against this injustice.

all i can say is... WOW and it was expected. At least I didn't think they would have cut it this short. I thought maybe another 2-4 year but then i looked at the rating which have slipped dramatically.

Wow, I haven't been here in a while but anyway I feel I was taken off guard though I knew it was gonna happen. Haven't watched in a while - in my opinion a lot of crap was happening but that's a soap for u! it's good one day then a load of crap the next! But good or bad ATWT was my show!!!!! I've been watching since I was like 8! I'll miss it!

I am outraged. I have been watching ATWT since I was a child with my mom. She is now 81 and watches faithfully, taping the show while away.I don;t believe the Nielson rates those, like me, who tape the show and watch it at night or weekends. This program far outshines The Bold and the Beautiful and I believe it to be better than Yand R which I watch as well. I am 62 and cannot watch during the day, but see every episode eventually. I am outraged. I have been watching ATWT since I was a child at home with my mother. She is now 81 and a faithful viewer. She is very upset over this cut. I am 62 and work full-time. I tape it and watch episodes when I can. I don;t believe the ratings people even consider the bigger audience, who watches but can't be counted in Nielson ratings.I am sure the audience is much larger than they think. we watch Y & R and Bold and Beautiful but ATWT outshines them both. jUST A QUICK NOTE THERE ARE PETITIONS AND RALLY'S ACROSS THE NATION BEING ON THE 17TH.

SAVE OUR SOAPS 2010 GROUP IS ON FACE BOOK WHO HAS BEEN GETTING AIR TIME ON RADIO AND LOCAL TV SPOTS.

THE BIGGER THE NUMBER THE BETTER THE CHANCES..ALL GROUPS SHOULD TRY TO FIND THE OTHERS TO PULL TOGETHER.

Save Our Soaps 2010 on facebook is putting together rally's all across the country for the shows last air date. This group is getting radio and tv air time to support their fight to at least find the soaps another home..The bigger the number the more impact and if their are other groups doing the same like Tami King's group Save Our Soaps 2010> we need to pull together
