One of my personal favorites, I really enjoyed seeing this episode again.

The pickled onions are a fun gag that doesn't feel like a tired running gag.

Lionel's dealing with his percieved strength issues, even though you do lose strength as you grow older. Then the "old lion" and the role of male protector to a house full of women gets Lionel into a proactive mood that is sweet to see. Jane and Lionel's arguments over his actions are smart and funny and as realistic as ever.

Sandy's character/"voice" comes out a bit more in this episode. It's not a Sandy episode, but we get to "hear" her a bit more this time.

Alistair's contribution to the episode is hilarious and totally in keeping with the flashy Brit!

I would say more, but I don't want to spill anything! Not that there's major reveals or anything, but the fun of this episode is the actual watching.

    This episode I strongly recommend!moreless

    • Jean: Why are you standing there? Lionel: Oh, just having a look. Jean: Not thinking of tearing out again? Lionel: In my Pajamas? Jean: (chuckling) That would be even sillier, tearing out of here in your pajamas. Lionel: What do you mean, "even sillier?"

    • Jean: I'm not suggesting you've become enfeebled in anyway, but let's face facts: you're not a young man anymore. Lionel: No. Jean: You're not old. Lionel: No. Jean:You're just not young anymore.
