This is one of the few times in animation when a school fire alarm is a horn; in this case, Lucky Junior High has the older type of fire alarm horns that sound like buzzers (the alarm system goes off for the fire drill at the beginning of the episode.) Other cartoons (including other shows by Klasky-Csupo such as Rocket Power) usually use a bell for the fire alarm, which is not very common in the United States (bells are a more common fire alarm signal in Canada and other international countries.) But As Told By Ginger usually acts more like a live-action show, which is generally rare in other Klasky-Csupo cartoons.
Why does Miranda now realise that Ginger has hairy legs? During "Of Lice and Friends' she should have seen it because she and Ginger are in the same gym class.
Hoodsey: What about my power? (growl)
Ginger: But Miranda, I have homework of my own. Miranda: Let me pretend I care....OK! I'm done.
Miranda: Hey Steve! Seen Ginger? Gregg: Steve? I'm Gregg with 3 g's, just so you know. Miranda: I'll make a note, Gregg with 3 g's. Seen Ginger with 2?
The book Miranda tells Ginger to do a book report on is Call of the Wild written by Jack London
