When Miranda sees Darren passing a note to Ginger in class and tells her that "you and your boyfriend make a cute couple" (mainly to keep Ginger away from Ian Richton, so she can have him for herself), Ginger takes a trip to the movies with Darren a little too seriously - especially when she ends up sitting between Darren and Ian (who's sitting next to Miranda). Carl tries to borrow Blake's new telescope so he can win a bet with Brandon.moreless
  • Ginger and Darren? This is an unlikely story!

Miranda and Mipsy tells Ginger that "Friends First, then Couples" is what will happen to her and Darren after they see her passing notes to each other. They got this advice from Dr. Fondfeelings who they think is NEVER wrong, but we've seen her advice being false in future episodes.

This episode was a big leap for Ginger when she got home and had a dream about Darren. In the end, she goes to the movie with him ALONE. In the theater, they coincidentally meet Miranda and Ian Richton. In the movie, Ginger got so scared so she put her hads on both Darrena and Ian and ran out of the theater on fear. Outside, she tells Darren the truth and Darren convinces her that they will not be a couple, but as this episode as they say, character development, develops the first step for the Ginger/Darren relationship.moreless
