Who else thinks that the 2004 version of Astroboy was sub-par?

    Having grown up watching Astro boy in the 80's, I didn't have high hopes for the new version of Asto Boy and I think I had every right to be cautious. Whether its because I am so fond of the 80's show or suffering from a major case of nostalgia, I just think that the new version has losta lotof its charm and emotional appeal. What are other peoples thoughts?

    With CN showing the 1963 eps I became intrigued with Astro Boy and I am nowon a quest to see all three versions. I will get back to you when I have achieved my goal...

    I did it! After comparing the 1980 version to the 2004 version the 80's version was definitely better! They made two whole episodes for introduction! I can't wait to see the rest of them!

    i watch this one on youtube and i like all 3 the original version this one and the new version and i love all 3 of thim.
