Astronauts starred, Christopher Godwin as Commander Malcolm Mattocks, Carmen Du Sautoy as Doctor Gentian Foster and Barrie Rutter as Technical Officer David Ackroyd who in this show were Britains first three astronauts. Accompanying them on their mission to occupy a sky lab for six months was a dog, white mice and a variety of insects. Their contact at Mission Control is Beadle who is played by Bruce Boa. Living in two cramped compartments, the astronauts found it hard to get along.moreless
