Based on the description of a young boy haunted by the ghost of a dead girlfriend I tuned in expecting a supernatural slice of life anime a-la Haruhi Suzumiya. What I actually got was so much better. It is an action packed series i which the young boy is drawn into a supernatural world of violence and war with various factions competing for his loyalty and enough explosions and fights to make even bleach fans satisfied.
The animation is excellent and backed up by some really great voice talent as well. The script was somewhat cliched but you can't have everything so I won't complain too much. All in all this may not have been what I was expecting but it is definitely something that I will continue to watch.moreless

This show is an adaptation of the light novel series by Gakuto Mikumo and Nao Watanuki. The story focuses on a Japanese highschool boy, Tomoharu Natsume, who is haunted by the ghost of his childhood girlfriend, Misao Minakami. After an encounter with an old friend of his brother, Tomo and Misao find themselves involved in a strange magical conflict from which they cannot escape.
