  • Simply average

Simply average sums up both of these episodes. I saw the previews and I wasn't expecting that much. Guess what? They were right. Both of these achieve 7 out of 10 rating because they weren't good they just weren't bad either.

Betty Vs. the Giant Killer Ants

The picnic theme was totally cute. Nice subplot of picnic also tied in very well. I like how all the regulars on earth appeared- Dylan, Penelope and Noah. Very nicely put together with Penelope getting her just desserts in the end- hot sauce, what a riot act. Very deserving though. Actually, it's a very good subplot overall, not one of the best but better than most so far, especially since it links indirectly to the main plot which subtly always adds points to it.

Anyway, I always wondered what would happen if Giant Ants got loose and now I know. Quite a funny episode this was, and I loved how Betty beat Maximus when it was three midgets against two giant tough guys. Right on!

I also thought it was funny how Minimus caused the problem for once. Sure, Maximus was there but Minimus actually started the chain reaction which I believe is something new and quite entertaining. Gives Maximus more reasons to yell.

    Best (Mis)Laid Plans

The title is better than the episode. It really is. The title is creative, implies humor and sparks your imagination. The episode was pure blah except for the subplot.

Loved the piranha, though I didn't realize it was a piranah till they actually said it. From the very start I didn't like Purrsy because Betty's mother favors him over her alot of the time and also because he is pure annoying. In this episode, he gets just what he deserves. A little on the harsh side but I'm sure he'll make up for that later on sometime. Oh well.

Anyway, the plans bit was a bit boring but an ok episode. There's not much to say because not much happened.moreless
