  • The good, the bad and the...not so good.

Overall, not the best of episodes.

The Good, the Bad and the Sparky

Probably my least favorite episode so far. I did not like the fact that the whole time it was supposed to be like a movie set. And sometimes, you couldn't tell if it was the movie or if it was real. I'm still not sure about some of it, and I really don't think that is a good quality for an episode, atleast not this one.

My favorite part was the "Time Warp Release" and when they all sat around reading the magazine, it was a very relaxing atmosphere. I liked how mad Maximus got especially over just a stupid movie. Betty and Sparky and X-5 sitting around reading it was classic. The director got a little too into the movie and worked it a little too hard. However, he got his come uppance in the end when they tied him up in his own ship.

The back plot was very weak but at the end it was funny how Betty used the Galactic Guardian sales pitch to sell the cookies.

    Bye-Bye X-5

A decent episode, the design for the new ship was pretty cool. However, X 8.5 got extremely annoying after about a minute. It was comical how they portrayed him getting on Betty and X-5's nerves yet for part of it Sparky loved him. However, in the end even he got fed up with X 8.5 (Who can blame him?)

The way that the ship changed shape was cool and an interesting feature. The party feature was not so interesting. Bleh, after the fifth time I lost it and screamed at the TV. You can tell it gets bad when Sparky even gets annoyed. But it was nice how Betty still loved X-5 the whole time and didn't like X-8.5 It was extremely funny how annoyed she got when he did things before she gave the command. Very un-galactic guardianish.

Subplot was okay, it tied in on one point and that was what saved it. The massage feature was a good laugh.

Mediocre episode overall, I give it a 5 out of ten.moreless
