  • The trouble with...spiders?

Ok, I'll admit it. This episode wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. But still, it was fairly decent.

    The Trouble With Triplets

This was the better of the two episodes by far. I loved how they had different colors for each of the triplets- Blue, red and especially orange which is my favorite color. Plus, all the colors go good together and blue breaks up the fire colors. Anyway...

Backplot was hilarious, with the Clog dancing. Her dad can be kind of crazy sometimes but then again, so is Sparky. I liked how it showed Noah in the back but still with some speaking lines. Sometimes you really need a breather from constant back up characters no matter how good they are. Betty's grandma was a nice addition and this whole story gives plenty of material to be built on later in this season or possibly the next one.

At last, Maximus' experiment backfired on himself without Betty first! Actually, since it was her DNA she kind of did interefere but now physically which I always want to know- What happens if Betty isn't there to stop the Maximus or whatever other bad guy? Do they get away with it? In this episode you can see that Maximus probably would have run into alot of trouble just by girls being- girls.

Awesome pillow fight to get them out of danger. Now that is what I call creative thinking- not brilliant but very creative. Plus, Betty proved that she is the best, no matter who she faces- even if it's herself!

One thing I didn't get though, is why did the Triplets turn evil if Betty was good? I know they had their DNA mixed with the people from Splatty, but they could have taken it in another direction as well which is something very good for fanfiction people. Interesting ideas throughout the whole episode, I was very pleased with it, it was better than I expected. I can't find anything to criticize, yet somehow this doesn't quite make the cut- I just felt it wasn't quite there. I give it a 9 out of 10.

    Spider Betty

Not a very good episode. For starters, the title is misleading, I for one was expecting Betty to be poisoned and turned into a half spider or some such. However, that wasn't the case. If that's what you people are looking for, this episode isn't it.

Other than that, the episode was fair. It blows my mind how the Galactic Guardians didn't notice a huge bunch of asteroids all held together by Spider thread but that's what Betty's there for, isn't it though?

I liked the fact that they had the three invisible purple dudes, they were kinda cool. Best part of the episode. And how X-5 took such a sarcastic view of Sparky having to train them. Boy, that was funny.

Sparky as usual, added comic humor, backed up by X-5 which was more than up to scratch of their usual standard. Very good writing.

I didn't like how the ship got covered in the spider thread, that was just very off putting for some reason. The periscope was neat though.

If this had a subplot, it didn't make an impression on me which is never a good thing. Overall, I give this episode a 5 out of 10, it was the invisible guys who saved it from complete failure.

Together, you do the math for the out of ten rating. No, seriously- do the math if you want to find out.

    P.S. I don't mean to be offensive
